19 days and counting....

Hi, I'm new here...
36 year old female on my way to recovery. Alcohol has caused me and family grief family for many years and it's time for a change!!!

Hi Msqueen and welcome to SR, I know what you mean , drink was ruining my life even though I looked like a normal functioning person on the outside.
I feel tons better without drink, no hangovers, memory loss, misgivings. Enjoy your sobriety, there's lots of help here on SR.

Most of us do... or at least get darn close! The important thing is you decided to change before what comes after rock bottom.
