Hello first time here

Good evening, this is my first time joining a forum. I'm recovering from alcohol but I tell you it's not easy. I started drinking heavily a year ago and just decided to quit drinking after getting arrested for the third time but this time DCF got involved and they can take my son who's 14 away. That did it for me! My children and me are much more important than a bottle of brandy.

Thank you

Welcome Acuariana I'm a mommy too. That's my whole life, it must be crushing to have CHild Protective Service involved. The good news is you can completely 100% turn this around. You are correct you and your children are worth so much more then any bottle. You can do this. You e found a great place here at SR it's like a family, open up share, help others and you will start to be the person you were meant to be. Go hug those kids and yourself they have a lot to be proud of for having a mom who loves them enough to change the future for them as well as their mom be well!

Congrats on your life changing journey
