Writing from my detox hospital bed

Hello friends, got in here on Tuesday ... enough is enough ... my 20 year dance with alcohol I hereby declare over. Let the healing begin. Have never wanted this more. Looking forward to support and friendship.

Runnin - If you feel up to it, it would be fascinating if you could keep a diary of how things went for you in there. Might help others to read it Only if you feel up to it though and well done again for seeking help

Greetings and congratulations on getting off to a good start! Keep posting. We'll be with you the whole way. And you're going to end up happy. It will take some time and some persistence but you can do it. Many others have and you can too. You'll have some trouble sleeping at first but that gradually goes away. The doctors can help. Good luck and all the best to you!

Hi runnin! We are neighbors! I'm over in Clearwater.

Congrats on tarting your recovery. What's the plan for when you're out if detox? I personally use SR and AA but there are lots and lots of options.

Welcome and congrats on making the decision to quit. It's not an easy journey but well worth it!
