Hello iam on day 3
Hello everybody ive had enough of drinking and how it has affected my life so have decided to give up. Controlled drinking is no good for me as i can never ever stop once ive had a drink. Ive managed 3 days so far and feel good. Had some slight cravings this evening but managed to ride them out, iam a bit worried about the weekend though.. Thats my normal "crazy drinking time" iam planning on trying to keep busy

Welcome to SR, Bird. THere is a lot of support here especially for weekends (the thread will pop up tomorrow from Mecanix). I suggest you join that thread. Read up and post as much as you feel comfortable with. Best of luck and stay connected !

Great job on your 3 days! You can do this bigdumbird. You don't need it. It doesn't help. It wrecks our lives. You're on your way to a calm and peaceful life where you never have to worry about what you said or did. It's great to be free.
