New kind of "regular"
I have been sober for 6 months and in that time my habits and routines have drastically changed. I would previously go to the bar every day...usually stopping after work for a couple before going home to my family.
I was a welcome regular. I knew all the bartenders well and my glass of wine was poured when they saw me walk in, superb service!
I no longer stop in there, and instead spend my free time at the gym. Well after getting my hair cut thus weekend, when I went to the gym on my lunch hour the girl commented on my new hairstyle. Lol, I didn't realize they had gotten so used to seeing me.
It's nice to now be a "regular" at a gym instead of a bar:-)
