The winds of change....

Are blowing thru my life this week. Seems like it changed from fall to winter overnight.... There is literally like 4 feet of snow outside.
A good friend I made in treatment is now in a 3 month treatment program, and gone are our daily talks. I'm glad he is seeking more help but I can't help but feel sad about not having my daily talks with my recovery buddy....
Change has always freaked me out. Even though I hated my former life as an addict -- it was predictably terrible haha. I am really trying to embrace change now -- change can be a great thing just feels ****** right now. image-3177793334.jpg

I do understand. Change can be overwhelming. However, the change that a person experiences due to sobriety is such a great thing. Just let it all change. I am sorry that you have lost that friend to talk with for awhile. He will be back. Keep walking forward!
