8 days without a drink

Im on 8 days without a drink, i did not think i was an alcoholic because i never thought i needed a drink. I always jusr wanted one. Last night i felt i needed a drink and decided to watch a spiritual show on tv. Then that wasnt enough to keep me from the store and i watched u tube videos about alcoholism and the two hour bill w movie can be found on u tube. When the movie was over i creared my account here. I am happy to say i have another day sober.

Thank you for posting. Take a moment to congratulate yourself on 8 days. That's no minor accomplishment. For a long time I didn't think I had a problem with alcohol until I realized I *needed* to drink. Please keep posting to let us know how you're doing. There's probably a million years of accumulated sobriety in this forum
