My little guy and I were out trick-or-treating for about 45 minutes last night. We both had such a good time seeing other kids' costumes, I loved watching my little guy say "trick or treat" and "thank you." We got home and sorted his candy, then I spent time looking at friends' photos on Facebook of THEIR kids all dressed up and having a great time.

I have allowed stress and anxiety to totally ruin the last three Halloweens, and it was such a joy to shed all of that baggage this year and just ENJOY myself! I'm going to fight like crazy to hang on to that unfettered joy straight through the holidays.

My xa was there with us yesterday, but he's jobless, so not drunk for halloween for the first time ever and it was lovely.
Although he did try to get the corner store to "trick or treat" him a 40.
True story.

I too had a great time. The weather here was iffy so I was not sure we would get to go. Turns out we did and it was just enough time for my little girl to have fun and dress up and a great time was had by everyone. So happy that I have a good memory to replace some of the bad ones. One holiday down and it was good!!!
