Checking in to thank you all for your support over the weekend. I have structure set up for the rest of the week and am going to go to a meeting tomorrow. I have found today good as i was busy and present. I still feel foggy and swearing though,.and my nightmares last night were awful,.i kept jolting awake. But this morning i woke so grateful to be alive and sober. I have now managed 3 days. I worry once the withdrawals pass i Will be tempted, especially as i get paid on Friday- always a mine field. Sorry for such a long post. I just needed to get this out my head before i go to bed...and reaffirm my gratitude for this sober day,.as i know once my anxieties creep back in drink may become appealing. I don't want that.

it's not a long post, it's a great post, you may not realize this yet but your posts not only speak about yourself but touch others who may be feeling what you are feeling and it makes people feel connected and not so alone you are helping not just yourself but all of us in recovery.

It sounds like you have a decent program. Stick with it and stick with SR. ONe day at a time. I think you know this as you are aware of being in the present. That's great. Keep it going.
