Day 21 , traded addiction for tradition

Hi , I've been posting on SR for some time. Have had more day 1's than I can remember and made many friends. Doing so gave me accountability. I needed that. My own will power not getting it done I joined NA and found a power and people like myself in the rooms . Face to face , truly worth it and I pray often . Without this I don't know if I'd have gotten to where I am.

I'm so glad to hear that Ricky. Sometimes it takes many many times to get it, it's when you stop trying that you fail!

Riky, you rock! I'm so glad to hear you have made it three weeks! I have had countless day ones as well and I'm going strong to make this weekend a sober weekend. Keep rockin' the sobriety!

So good to see this, Ricky. You're doing awesome.

Glad NA is working for you. I have found the same with AA although I never expected to. I always thought I could do it, on my own. Turns out that having the help and understanding of people who know exactly what you're going through and give support without judgement is pretty damn wonderful.

Kinda like right here on SR...
