Just wanted to let you know, that he attended his first in-person AA meeting with me Sunday night !
Very proud of you for taking that first step buddy, it at times can be very overwhelming...

Hoping this motivates others to take that first, important step.
Reach out to your local AA (or other recovery) chapter, I am sure they would be willing to meet you for a coffee prior to any sort of meeting.
I recall pulling into a few parking lots, only to chicken out at the last minute
