Thanx guys. Sober & staying that way :-) other than all this coffee in me LoL. They pulled out a book again . so I cut out ... So glad it's not court order lol

I'm assuming it was the big book or 12 & 12? You know, it's not all god stuff if that's your hang-up (I'm making this assumption because you referenced "verses" in a previous post). In fact, 90% is just about alcoholic thinking and what we can do to change it.

AA isn't exactly church here. Obviously, do what makes you feel comfortable, and I'm glad you're getting something out of it, even if it's just staying sober for the time that you're there. But maybe it's worth sticking around for a big book or step meeting a few times to see if you can relate to any of it. It can't hurt, right?
