Days day days
Days day days
When I was on my first few days of quitting I would see posts of people getting 10 days, 30 days, 50 days, ect. I would feel a bit uneasy, thinking I would never get that far along. Or anticipate reaching that number of days myself. Anyway, I want to encourage anyone on the first few days of their journey. It will happen and you will get there, before you know it you'll be out of the fog. Once out of the fog, you'll have to look at a calendar to help you count up all the sober days you've accumulated. You're doing great even if you think you're "just" on day 1. Keep at it. The days will come.

What a delightfully encouraging post! I agree- when I use to see 30 days I'd inwardly cringe- how would/could I ever get there? Yet in 6 days I will be- it's posts like YOURS that let me know REAL people have been there before me and if they can then I CAN! Day one is just the first day on a very WONDERFUL calender called sobriety. Thanks again!
