Hi all!

I wanted to let you all know that I was going out of town for the weekend so I won't be around...I know if one of you wasn't on for a few days I might get concerned.

I am feeling a bit better lately...we saw a lawyer to get all the guardianship issues taken care of so that burden is off my mind...and when it is final I know I will feel better yet. Everything is really flowing if you know what I mean (and I just know that you do). I am so grateful that we have the relationship with the other grandmother that we do because it makes things so much easier. The GS will stay with her (it has always been his home)...we are taking care of the legal stuff...and daycare... and anything can be changed legally if the need arises. No one wants to keep the Beav from his son, we will simply keep him safe until he is ready to do that for himself. What a wonderful woman to take on this responsibility...it could really be so much worse.
We are all blessed to have each other during this sad time.

See ya Sunday eve...

Paula

Thanks for letting us know , JT... you know how we worry! I hope you are going to do something fun?

I know you are relieved to be getting these things taken care of. You may be off the board, but you'll be in our hearts and minds!

Hugs,
Smokie

JT

What a wonderful person you are!!! You give so much love and care to your grandson, family and this board.

We will really miss you, but on the other hand I have a feeling we will be right there with you..so you just better have a GREAT time, relax, enjoy yourself and eat lots of Ben & Jerry's. A little "Chunky Monkey" would suit my tastes.

Have fun!!!!

Hugs and Love

I started to miss you last night, so it's a good thing you checked in or I would have been lookin for the bloodhounds.

I will miss you. I always do.

I'm sorry you're flowing. The calmer waters are up ahead.

Love you!

Hi JT

I just looked at my atlas, and the way I see it is it is about 12 hours. Just fly east over Lake Michigan, across Michigan and over Lake Huron, hang a right towards Lake Ontario, and THERE I WILL BE . Oh, I forgot only I can fly. So Ill meet you in Wisconsin.

Toronto is on the north shore of Lake Ontario and is in the southern part of Ontario. Where you will be in Wisonsin is further north than where I am.

A game I used to play when travelling with my young nieces and nephews was "Watch For The Gorilla'. I used to tell them that some gorillas got loose from a zoo and it was rumoured that they were somewhere along our route, maybe in the woods, maybe in a tree, but you have to look REAL close to see them. They would look forever, and I would shout out "I thought I saw one over there, they must be around her somewhere!!!" Kept them busy for the longest time.

Have a great trip and drive safely.

Hugs
