I got 5 birds tattooed up in the inside of my arm 2 years ago to help me through a rough time with a cancer scare. Each bird means something different to me.

I am very curious of what others would do to honor their sobriety.

I've never thought about "honoring" my sobriety. For me, sobriety is how I am honoring the other parts of my life and the people connected to it.

I am personally not a tattoo person, nothing against those that are but just not my thing. I try to honor my sobriety by being the best husband, father, worker i can be and not drinking.

The tattoo of sobriety puts a knot in my stomach. For me, I have had long stretches of sobriety just to not have long stretches of sobriety. A tattoo would be a bit too much. Even though I am sober and plan to stay that way, I am not sure what tomorrow or next week brings. So, without serious time under me, I can not think of a permanent tattoo.

Heh, good question. I have a few tattoos and was thinking of getting one that resembles my avatar: the man in the maze.

I'm such an idiot that if I got any tattoo , it would probably be the word tattoo, just not sure which language or font ew maybe the Chinese character for tattoo

Honestly, I am not really a tattoo person. I like looking at them on other people, just not on me.

I always thought if I could do my sober date in some obscure number form.....maybe in Stardate language?

But then again, don't tattoos hurt? I am a wuss when it comes to pain.
