Hiya Friends,

I just wanted to check in and update you, and let you know I may be away for a while whilst I get well.

long story, but those who have read my thread will know things got pretty bad, and they got worse, I attempted to take my own life by taking a mix of painkillers, ended up in hospital and was assessed and am going to be seen weekly via home visits from a psych and get some support to deal with home life too, things will change and I will be well & strong again, think things had to break completely to get better, so while I may be broken now, I hope to be back & well and strong soon...oh and I am still sober.

Hi Loralei. I don't know you yet but can hear your pain. What amazes me the most is that you managed to stay sober. These painful feelings are real, are very raw, but won't last. Thanks for being honest with us and sharing your story. Hang in there. It will get better, I promise.
