That was just what I needed
So I was sooo overwhelmed and stressed out yesterday
But I knew I was going to Alanon that night, so I was going to be ok.
Well, on my way to the meeting room, I was stopped by the chairperson. He told me he had an emergency and wouldn't be able to chair....and asked ME to do it! So I chaired my first meeting!! I got to pick the topic, so I picked what I needed....turning negative situations into positive ones, and seeing the positive in everyday life

Yeah, chair turns out pretty cool, huh?
I finally got roped into it by a Very Persistent Woman who is a little like Forrest Gump. I love her. Just honest, open, and totally sincere.
Was SO GLAD when I finally did. 4 years. Was embarressed that my daughter was chairing meetings in Alateen at just 4 months. So dad is the slow one, I guess.
And getting to pick the topic . . . yeah, that is Very Good, too.
Yours was "Turn that Frown Upside Down?" That is a great one. Reminds me of the end of the Joseph story -- "They meant it for evil, but God turned it for Good." THAT is a whole bunch of what all this is about, huh?
