just for today
just for today i will not take the first drink
just for today i will ignore my neighbours what ever sh!t they try to cause me
if youve read my other posts you will know ive had a lot of silly pointless hassle from my next door but 1 neighbours
which lead to my drinking and kicking off, on monday 29th september 2013
now i am 100% i dont want to drink but i still know its a daily repreave and i know there will be times i struggle with the alcohol side of recovery
but my hardest part at the moment is learning to ignore these sill pathetic neighbours
forgive? NO forget them YES just for today
sorry for the long post i just needed to type it out/write it down
also i now fully accept aa to help me what ever it takes, ive found 3 very nice meetings which i like i feel comfortable and the people there are helpfull and understanding, there are a lot of sober people there, previous meetings i attended which ive said i wont go back to are full of people in and out its like the hokey cokey, not much help to someone (me) wanting full sobriety complete abstinence

Get in there, Dave. Well done for sticking this pole in the ground.
Don't let the bastards grind you down or into a bottle. Do your own thing for you. I know lots of us here are proud of you for making this decision.

and again just for today no alcohol and ill ignore the neighbours
god grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change (MY NEIGHBOURS) the courage to change the things i can ( THE WAY I REACT TO MY NEIGHBOURS, AND WETHER OR NOT I THINK A DRINK IS A GOOD IDEA) the wisdom to know the difference
i cant change my past i cant change how my pathetic neighbours act. but i dont have to react to them or turn to drink
