Nighttime is the worst

I feel so weak. I'm sitting here waiting for the problems to go away. Anyone else?

Omg I'm totally with you. Not sitting alone, but definitely feeling worse than I have all day. Only time I felt good was when I forced myself on my run/jog but that only gave me energy for a short time. It's the end of day 9, hoping one day I wake up with some energy. Someday soon!

It's hard to sit with our thoughts sometimes. Have you heard of mindfulness.. It's helped me a lot tonight to stay calm and to keep the anxiety at bay.

For the longest time the worst single place in the world for me to be was inside a room alone with my own thoughts. If you can, do something, anything, to occupy your mind.

I am there with you JadeSatellite. Nights are the worst for me to because I have not slept now in 6 days. I thank the lord I found this forum because now I have a place to come for support. I too am alone and know exactly how you feel. Hope your night's get better HUGS

I'm alone, but not lonely. Evenings usually brought my strongest cravings, and I wasn't able to focus or enjoy many of the things I once enjoyed. But with time things got much better. Now I enjoy my evenings. I usually spend a few hours getting some work done, and then I watch a movie or some TV. Sometimes I'll cook or read. I've come to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Give it time Jade, things should get better.

If worse comes to worst, I take an herbal sleep remedy, get into bed and play Crazy 8s (or some other silly game) on my phone until I fall asleep.

Nighttime can be tough. The early morning insomnia hits me at times, especially if work was stressful. As others mentioned, mindfulness and herbal remedies can be helpful. TGIF.
