Hello,

I've been lurking here for a few months now and finally decided to make a profile. I am currently in recovery from an addiction to opiates. With the help of my local methadone clinic, I have been clean from all drugs/alcohol (except methadone) since February 10th, 2013. It will be ten months tomorrow.

A year ago I could have never imagined going a day without pills or heroin. Every day was a struggle. I stole money from my family (which has finally been paid back), I lied, and I hated myself. I still have a lot to learn about recovery and hope to use this site as a tool and as a way of making friends and also (hopefully) a way to help others through my experiences.

I am so grateful to have the chance to be a part of this site and can't wait to meet everyone

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I realized I wrote it wrong, its actually only 8 months...I think I had the 10 in my head cause its the date tomorrow Thanks Steve, his name is Pippin, he is going to be 2 years old on the 12th, how old is your pup? He/she is beautiful

My boy is 4 years old jenny.....He still behaves like he's months old though lol.
