I am really sick and quite frightened. I had been sober many years but have progressed to almost dead in only 2 years of drinking...compulsion is worse than ever now with the fear of withdrawl..I cant stay away from booze for more than 24-30 hours without getting really ill

these 2 things are gone now along with my marriage, kids and in a few hours ill find out if my job is gone too

I may just go to the ER if I gety really sick....worried of having a seizure

If you are worried, ER is a good idea. There is so much support on SR. You have found a great place. Be safe.

Please go to the ER. It's nothing to mess around with. All your other problems are secondary to surviving. Take care of yourself so you can work on the rest later.

You cannot detox on your own!! If you are sick within that short of time..you have got to go to ED to withdrawl..It's serious!! Do Not try it at home by yourself..Once you're detoxed, you can think clearly about you're future plans and receive the long-term help you need. DONT mess around with withdrawals!!
