In bed - not drunk :)

I done it (relief) I'm going to be on and off here while I scout YouTube for videos that may help me. If I find anything useful ill share it here. Been a wee flutter of activity here today it's good to see the new people posting.

Well done. I'd say that's the spirit but that's probably a bit inappropriate on a recovery forum! Hope you have a good one today.

Lol!! I'm enjoying your wit! Although maybe that's due to it being inappropriate. Rebel LOL. Today's going good so far - didn't sleep all that great but it will correct itself. How are you doing today?

Everything is still easier to do sober and not hungover though! It's a change to learn to live on normal energy - hungover nervous energy is so exhausting because you just can't sit at peace with yourself. Im tired now but it's a tiredness that if I sit down for 5 I'm energised again. Just really glad that I'm doing this.

Maybe plan something for the morning and also sunday morning, something that you'd dread doing if hungover? Like maybe the gym or a run or arrange to meet a non pisshead friend for an early coffee?

Weekends are just a lost cause right now. I don't have any structure in place. I will through time though - anyways - how are you lot doing? How was your Friday?

I know what you mean about lack of structure, it is difficult to think of new things to do when the old answer is just so easy. Not better but definitely easier. At least you know when your at your most vulnerable and can make plans to distract yourself from the booze.

I stayed sober for 5 months a couple of years ago, 4 of which were in a rehab. I wouldn't say it was a walk in the park but because of the structure and support it was a lot easier than on the 'outside'. Structure is something I'll have to work on as well before I go around the twist!

Yesterday was ok, except the 1st half of the England game . All the best 13.
