7 Months today!

I have 7 months today. When I woke up this morning I was caught up in my head with thoughts that were swimming around randomly. I snapped into reality immediately to Thank the Heavens (the powers that be) for this time of sobriety. The struggle that I endured for so long was lifted seven months ago. Now, I am living one day at a time and things are becoming quite peaceful. I had a lot to sort through when I took the plunge into a hell that ripped my life apart.
I am blessed. I am loved. I am walking forward. I am happy (who would of thought) I am doing this with the help of belief, strangers, family, and a determination to maintain my sanity.

I was sad when you dissapeared 9 or 10 months ago

When you came back 7 months ago you made me happy because i always thought , from the tone and style of your posts and messages that you could do this .

I'm thankful and joyous that you have got so far and i hope and pray you continue .

Thank you Mecanix. I was also sad 9 to 10 months ago when I made drinking and excuses the option instead of living. Knowing that you are an Alcoholic and doing something about the alcoholism are two different things. ....It took a hard fall to get the message. I am so grateful for the fall even though the cost was more than I thought I could handle. Can I get a RING RING!
