When did the cravings start for you?

I'm getting a little bit nervous because I am on day 14 and haven't had a single craving yet. Granted, I'm keeping myself super busy and reading a lot of recovery books (and posting on SR), but I thought I'd have a problem by now.
I also have been thinking a lot about what I was like when I was drunk and it is definitely "sobering". Maybe this helps??

I had two nights that I can think of that I needed to take an ativan due to edginess, but even during that time, I did not crave a drink.

Just wondering when the other shoe will drop...hate to be worried about this, but I can't help it.

Hi Heart, maybe you won't have any. If you do, try urge surfing. It's a method for relaxing thru them. They will pass. Great job to you!

There's no way to predict them, but when/if they hit, you'll know. I'm on day 18 and I get them pretty much daily. Count your blessings that you haven't had any! Congrats on 14 days

Hi IH. I have to say I have been pretty lucky. I have had about 3 really intense (5 min or more) urges since I got sober, I am 100 days today. The thoughts do come into my head, I acknowledge the but gently move them along.

I'm on day 7 and my cravings have been associated with wanting to go out and socialize, but I just try to stay focused doing productive stuff. I did laundry today and cleaned some, now I feel good about how I spent the day. I'm trying to see what I can gain by being sober. I hope you continue on!
