I reached a milestone!
Today is day 15! That's the longest period I've been without alcohol in 12 years, I turned 27 in July to put that into context.
I'd like to say "Thank You!" for all the support everyone has given directly or indirectly by sharing their experiences. I don't think I'm anywhere near fixed but this was definitely something I've been hoping for.
I'm grateful to those who answered my questions ranging from job satisfaction to dating and any other random topics.
To quote a fellow, yet ever-so-slightly more well-known Brit, I know it isn't over but -
"Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end, but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning"

each day sober now is a new record for me
I have never been sober this long
it's a nice easy way in which to live today one day at a time
