Day 4.

Just checkin in. Still going strong on Day 4. Nothing really to report other than the fact that I still feel very unmotivated to do anything. Although work is very tiring and I suppose im used to buzzin in the evenings.

I always found days 3 and 4 tough - felt like I was going down with flu.
Day 5 though, is a whole new ball game - you'll be bouncing around
hang in there x

The thing is..Is that I only drank for the whole of last week and before that I was sober 38 days. So thats 7 days drinking out of 49. I felt anxious and unhappy more often than not in those 38 days and am worried I will not be able to feel happy sober. I hope so.

You'll find happiness sober Just need to find things you enjoy doing - how about hobbies you used to have before booze? I've got back into painting, swimming, cycling etc - it's amazing how the years roll back

RJ - Had to look you up. I've seen your day 2 and 3 posts. I'm now done with day 4 too. Went to a movie today to try take my mind off things. I couldn't focus. I feel better though. Like you I had been sober before a 6 day binge. Unfortunately I only drank and didn't eat during that time so it's still rough. Onward!!!

Hi RJY, Yea for 4 days. You will regain your energy when your body gets detoxed. Keep going. Great job.

Give yourself time - things will get better. Very few of us could stay sober if they didn't.
