I am drunk right now. Whiskey last night. Wine this morning. Massive anxiety all day My family is starting to worry. 2 beatiful daughters. 5,6 year olds. I'm 37 and have a wonderful wife. I'm starting to fall deeper into this hell. I'm scared. I hide my drinks from everyone. I can't seem to find the core of my problem. Are their meetings I can attend ?

Call the AA hotline in your phone book to find out where and when the meetings are. Tell them how you're doing and that you need help.

Aprilia.....hang in there. There are tons of meetings on that part of the island, usually early in the morning, noon, around 5 and then 9. Google AA Merrick or Freeport and put in the day...it will bring up a list. There are meetings all day every day in the city. It is a good place to get started and meet other people who are struggling. You are not alone.

All kinds of meetings and help in Merrick, Ny. Try not to be so hard on yourself. You still your family intact despite looking down a cliff. Post here and post often. Seek a meeting and find solace in those who have been thru exactly what your going thru. It on on/off switch, finding it is sometimes the problem, but does exist my friend....stay here with us for now. They HELPED get me on my feet. And you will too! Now it is up to me to rebuild healthy resources. AND PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE.

Keep coming back...you can do this - and there are lots of people in the world who can help you close by in person and here online. Might I also recommend the chat room here.

You are brave and you are strong and you are worthy of living the best life you can. Meetings can and will help you - try to go to as many as you can...as often as you can. GET NUMBERS of ppl in the meetings and use that hotline number as it will be your life line. You are not alone.
