Three weeks one day.......
..... And I feel absolutely OK about not drinking - thanks SR!
Last night my partner, bless him, asked if I would mind if he had a drink? My stopping drinking has helped him cut down, which is a good thing, as he was hammering it pretty hard too.
He hadn't had a drink all week and opened a bottle of expensive top-quality red. I saw the glass and actually did not want any! I could also smell it too. I did, however, note how he drank it. Slowly, over dinner and the course of the evening. Totally different to 'liddle old wine guzzler me'.
I left him in bed this morning as I have a very early start, glad that I no longer have that awful, paranoid, hung over feeling any more. So, so, good.
