I so glad to have found you all, I really need support to be sober.
This is a hard battle to win at the moment, but today is another day and I get to try again not to drink.
My pattern with alcohol is that I drink every second day in the evenings, I binge and can never stop.
I am a disaster with alcohol and know that I am a person that cannot control my drinking and I need to stop.

Welcome Mia! It's wonderful to have you join the family. For me, not being alone anymore was a huge help. I felt like I could be myself here & share my true feelings. I hope you'll feel the same. We all understand!

Miakat, i also joined the community today too. Told my sobering and honest story. Since joining, all I do here is read and post. It occupies my time and therapeutic. Greatest support and compassion you will find here. Give it a try. But please stay with us...we do this together..

Welcome Miakat. This forum is amazing; there so many genuinely kind and helpful people here. I haven't had a drink for 8 days now and couldn't have done it without the support and inspiration found here. Keep visiting.
