3 months sober today
So it is finally day 90 today and this brings me to the 3 month mark of sobriety. It feels like a huge step, and things are vastly different in many ways.
While it hasn't always been easy.. every day sobriety has become better and easier bit by bit. Sobriety is becoming a new normal.
Also, one of the best things is that the brains seem to operate much more effectively after this time. Things are easier, definately. Keep it up.
By the way, I'm also on day 6 without nicotine, and I highly recommend the book 'Easy way to stop smoking - Allen Carr' because it really is the truth. It's all there in the book. I used to read it once, stop for a few days and then succumbed back to smoking. It is evident I didn't fully understand and think about what I read at that time. Highly recommended.

Huge congrats UnixBer! I am so very happy for you. I remember some of those hard days for you. You made it through Season 1 (I like to break my sobriety into 3 month chunks just like seasons). I too have been working on quitting smoking in Season 2. I'm weaning down on patch. I read the Carr book years ago. He's a wise one. His "Easy Way to Quit Drinking" was extremely helpful to me in sobriety.
Anyways...back to YOU! Nice work.
