Every day... Feel free to add your own
Every day I do a "sound check" and make sure all my internal controls are where they are supposed to be. Every day that things are off, I make a special effort to care for myself, go to bed early, drink a hot cup of mint tea, and say something kind and loving to my kids.

Every day I say something nice to a stranger. I work in a place where there are often lots of people who are going through terrible things. More than once I have gotten a tearful "thank you" in return. And I know how much a random kind word can improve someone's day.
Every day I do something loving, nurturing, and kind for myself. It started as a weekly homework assignment from my therapist, but it's become a regular habit. I also try to do the same for my husband and my kids, even if it's just saying something to them. If I'm out, I make an effort to be nice to every person I meet.
Every day I look for the AWESOME in the ordinary and in what and who we can easily take for granted and express my gratitude for that awesome-ness... practice being present... move and groove my body... get quiet and go within... laugh outloud... hug... and as writer Elizabeth Gilbert wrote "invite God to play in my bloodstream the way that sunlight dances on water."
