Addicts don't think that drugs and or alcohol are the problem. Every thing and everyone else is the problem. Drugs and or alcohol are the answer.

When you try to remove the drugs and alcohol you become the enemy because in the addicts mind you are trying to take away a friend and comforter. Now you are the problem. The solution is to take drugs and run from the problem.

Indeed! I remember when I couldn't imagine life without drugs. I couldn't function without being high. Drugs were my best friend and they solved all my problems *so I thought*

Fortunately for me drugs turned on me and no longer took away the pain inside my head and heart, but amplified it. I had no where to turn. I hit rock bottom on my knees and it was there that my higher power *God* met me I reached up and he helped me out of the abyss.

I learned that life without drugs was sweeter than I could have ever imagined.

Now I get high on life!
