Help ....I am the Vodka police AGAIN!
I promised myself no more policing and I am DOING it! I went crazy tonight hunting down his glass of vodka! I was gone for a week....but sadly it was to my Mother's and she is very ill...so no stress relief only more 
stress!
This is just crazy ....I have to stop!
Missed all your posts while I was gone...hate life without my computer......

Welcome back. Don't be too hard on yourself. We all do a little policing once in a while. Like you I hate it when I do it, and have managed to divert myself many times when I knew I was heading that way.
Sorry about your mom. Now it's time to take care of yourself for a while.

I was wondering where you went. I'm sorry your mother is ill.
There has to be a duck analagy that would help in this situation. Maybe you could visualize the vodka glass as duckberries and say to yourself. "I am going to find those duckberries if it's the last thing I do" "No, no duckberries in the towel cupboard" Nope, no duckberries in the kitchen trash" "I just know he's quacking and has duckberries somewhere"
I don't know. What is our motive for finding the duckberries? Being lied to, brings out this detective quality in us. I'm not sure why.

Last time my A disappeared, I was still policing for the alcohol. I didn't want to dump it I just wanted to know that that was why he was acting crazy. I knew deep down he was drinking, but I guess I needed the evidence. I think MG is right, this brings out the detective in us <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
