I don't know when someone loses their 'newbie' label. I'm sober 15 months and I help other newbies now, but put me in a room with people with decades of sobriety and I definitely feel like I'm still in very early days....

Sober1irish, I'm 3 years sober now and what an oldtimer thinks don't mean duddliesquat to me. I qiut going to AA because of oldtimers. I consider myself a 3 year old and like it that way. You decide when you aren't a newbie anymore, rootin for ya.

Not sure about the answer - I came here completely broken and wrecked. The Newcomers Forum was the first place I visited - and I never left. Part of me will always be a Newbie. Good to have you here - congratulations on your sobriety.
