I am so glad I went to AA this morning. I finally worked up the courage to ask a woman to sponsor me and she was thrilled. We chatted a little bit and have so much in common. God put her in my path for sure!!!

I have been in and out of AA for 6 months, then tried staying sober without it, but it just didn't work out. I am almost at 36 hours without a drop. Yesterday I was nauseous, but today I am just dealing with sweating at any given moment. I know it will get better.

Hey that's brilliant - well done for asking I hope she is a help to you. Sweats and stuff should calm down by the ten day mark if not way before. Did you speak to a doctor before quitting?
