Already feeling better
I just joined Friday night because my husband was out of town, and I was feeling very bored. I knew I wasn't going to drink because I take Antabuse right now. However I was glad I didn't skip the pills so that I could drink like I had thought about doing. I actually did skip a few but took one the night before he left. I knew I would regret so badly if I decided to drink. Instead I found this awesome online support group, and in just a few days feel so much more confident that I can do this. Reading posts by people who have been sober much longer is very encouraging. I'm really glad I found this site

Good going! Some advice on antabuse: it stays in your system for a day or two, so even skipping a pill you would have probably gotten ill.
That aside, great job ob not giving in.

Welcome!
SR has been my main source of recovery for over 5 months.
It's like AA and antabuse all in one.
If I have any cravings just reading a few stories on here reminds me of how bad I felt 5 months ago and how I never have to feel that way again.
