Night 17

Still getting cold sweats? Is this normal? Was dreaming about drinking though - maybe that's something to do with it?

It wasn't normal for me, but who knows? maybe it is normal, or maybe you're a little run down or something Emily?

Emily, have you fallen for the trap I did? It was very 'close and clammy' last night and supposed to hit 30 degrees today. I HATE hot weather at the moment, as it takes me straight back to the withdrawal feelings

Yeah probably just run down and I'm still on quite a bit of medication so it's maybe that too. My body has never liked taking pills long term for anything even pain killers after a week or so I start to feel shivery and things at night. So it's possibly that. Oh well. Not a major issue just wondered if it was normal.

Yep Zoe could be that also as it was awfully sticky yesterday - kinda looks like the same for today.

I don't think it's anything other than a cold. 17 days seems pretty long into sobriety to have real physical symptoms. I just got over a nasty summer cold during my early days 20s - truth is now that it's gone I really feel great being sober.

Slightly off topic, I've dreamed about drinking the past 2 nights too. Weird.

Me too - something's bothering me though as well and I'm dreaming about that too so that could also be the reason.

I think the reason we dream of alcohol is because as recovering alcoholics it's always on our minds.

Been pretty warm here at times today too - tonight's cooled down though - or maybe I feel it as I'm tired. Hopefully we will all sleep well tonight
