Just a quick update..

I am happy. 49 days sober ... How have I done it... Ups and downs etc... But thru working the steps in AA, talking to alcoholics, listening, calling my sponsor everyday and doing 90/90 ... I have put my sobriety ahead of everything else and for 90 days it is to learn and listen and take the suggestions seriously.. I think the drinking obsessiveness has been lifted. Also I pray all the time... God will need ear plugs soon lol...

First thing I do when I open my eyes is thank my higher power for another day and to give me strength and guidance... For I want to live a long life sober.. I am an alcoholic.. It is a disease that have no cure...

I can say this alone I wouldn't be able to be doing this, it is so good to have a support network. AA has given me the tools, it is up to me to use them...

Good for you! AA is working for me, too, among other things. Stick with it.

Thanks everyone. I was on Facebook and this lady on my friends list posts on my page that she is proud of me and then sends me a personal message asking if I know anyone that can get her WEED. I was like are you serious?? I wanted to go off on her.. But instead I told her NO politely and that I don't smoke weed. I really don't smoke weed lol. Geesh
