Addiction and quitting.
Although I had no trouble giving up smoking I can not say the same for the drink.
The best of luck to every one here. You can do it and I believe you deserve better than remaining stuck on the drink. I wasted 10 years of my life. The time to live again has begun!

Hi FreshAgent007. I'm with you on that one. In my time I've given up amphetamines, LSD, MDMA, smoking marijuana and then two years ago gave up smoking cigarettes and each time it was easy. There were a couple of wobbly moments with each but I've managed to quit and have never looked back. In fact I don't even remember what it was like to smoke. That's the state of mind I'm aiming to achieve about alcohol, complete distancing and disdain. Good luck to you x

Thanks Ladies! And well done for making it past the first month. It shows how far we can get if we allow ourselves the luxury of sobriety. Also think how much younger you can look and how much £money£ we can save. I know it sounds vain but hey! I want it!
