Where to start,
I am here to reach out for my aunt, she is an alcoholic. As of right now she has lost her job, home, been kicked out of where she was living( with another person who also has a drinking problem) and is now living in her car.she often is seen wondering around passing out out on people's yards, her drinking has gotten so bad.we tried a place to dry her out but couldn't get her in anywhere from there. My cousin is just 21,we don't know what our options are or how to get her the help she needs and sometimes wants. I also feel we are running out of time,I don't want us to get that call...... Some one out there please help!!
Welcome to SR Katm. I'm sorry for what you and your family are going through but I'm glad you found this site.
You'll find some great support and info here. You should take a look here Friends and Family of Alcoholics - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information -- remember to read the stickies at the top.

Welcome, Katm, glad you found SR and hope it helps you a lot. I'd like to second the suggestion to check out the Family and Friends section of the forum. Here's a link to one of the stickied threads at the top of the page of F&F that you might find helpful. http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...l-problem.html
I'd also like to suggest you and your cousin look into Alanon, sooner rather than later. SR is a GREAT place, but ometimes you need a different kind of support than what you can get online. Here's a link to help you find a meeting. http://www.al-anon.alateen.org/
Again, welcome, and I hope as you read and post here, things begin to come clear to you.
