Never did I think this thread would grow so big for a part 2.

Sitting here eating by myself, I had to laugh. It wasn't a good one. Just realized how I told you guys I couldn't afford to live on my own andhere I am about to foot the bill on this house. I can't count on him not only because he's an alcoholic but now he's got a brain injury n brain damage.

I so feel the weight of the world this evening n it scares me!!!

It is scary Rotz! Many of us have lost everything and had to strike out on our own to survive. It's not easy and it's scary as hell. But it isn't impossible and there are people here and out there that can help you navigate the waters. As terrifying as it is, you don't have to do it in a bubble!

How is that beautiful grand baby?? How are your girls?

My daughter is being my daughter n won't allow me to see her. She obviously feels I cannot be trusted with an infant. The Girls are good.

I'm sorry your daughter is being a jerk. Give the girls a pat on the head for me.

I hope your daughter learns that hurtful actions don't help either of you....and at her age she still has a lot of growing up to do.....age doesn't guarantee maturity however...my daughter is 32 and still does dumb stuff...currently for the last month!

you'll be ok, it's just so hard to live it constantly.

Tomorrow is the big day. I feel so overwhelmed and scared of the outcome. It will tell me that I do have to get a second job. That he has complicated his recovery n more than likely suffered permanent brain damage.

I don't know if I'm ready to hear it. I'm looking at it but to hear it from a professional... it's like adding cement to my boots. I told my dad yesterday that I think I've lost the man I love because you can't smash your head like that n be yourself afterward. All he could say is he's so sorry.

Just really nervous among other things.

Please try not to 'awfulize' about what the doctor may or may not say tomorrow. I wish I could say that somehow, this will all go away, but I can't. I can tell you that we are walking with you.

I can't believe I walked out of the house with him knowing I took the keys. He is OUT of drink. And by golleeeeeee he says he's done. Wow... one day before the BIG reveal and he's done. I guess he wants me to believe him? I know someone who can kiss my ass.

I'm ready for this to be over. My heart is about to explode due to anxiety. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't come home with me. But then again, I've seen this fool come out of the most horrific situations and flip everyone off.

****!!! I don't know if I'm coming or going sometimes.

try to lay down later and just do deep breathing from center of the abdomen. it may help calm you down. in through the nose, out through the mouth

we are all in your pocket for support tomorrow and are hoping for the best possible outcome for you. all my guys have their paws crossed too.

Me, too. Thinking of you the whole way. If we could all be with you, we would.
