Jose Cuervo Ad - Are you KIDDING me????
On the thread I started not long ago about alcohol and adverts, I remember making a comment, something to the effect of the executives must have a chuckle to themselves when they tack on "concerned" messages about drinking responsibly etc, knowing that they make the majority of their money on straight up alcoholics and not people who drink responsibly.
But is it even worse when an ad for an alcoholic beverage doesn't even bother to be "subtle" about their blatant disregard for reality?

I am not getting an ad for Jose Cuervo, but I think my flash player crashed.
I did see some cute animal videos though.
I thought I have seen an ad with Kiefer Sutherland selling booze,
and I was sure there is video of him very drunk?

Jose Cuervo wrecked many of my Sunday afternoons back when
just happy sober up top the mountain here

Manufacturers don't try and advertise to the illegal or irresponsible users of their product.
Many people enjoy a margarita from time to time.
Just because there are alcoholics around, doesn't mean the world revolves around us.
I'd do a tequila ad in a heartbeat, and I'd cash that check.
Perhaps he gives the money to a recovery program?

Yeah, it's more like the Jack Bauer CHARACTER is promoting the tequila than Kiefer Sutherland. It would sort of be like having an actor playing James Bond advertising vodka for his "shaken, not stirred" martini.
