First Sunday I've waken up without a hangover in a while. One time at an AA meeting this older guy who had been sober a while said, "I used to wake up in the morning and say, 'Good God, it's morning!' Now I wake up and say,"Good morning, God."

I thought that was funny.

Yes I have heard that expression, totally can relate. I LOVE waking up clear headed, not sick, tired ad feeling like my body has been beat. Good morning

My days used to be, getting up, making coffee, letting the dogs out, going to the garage and having a big swig of vodka to calm the shakes and my stomach. This started a day of drinking that ended up with me passing out and started it all over again the next day. Alcohol had won. It now consumed 100 percent of my waking hours.


God and I am glad those days are over!!
