Hey guys day 20 days sober stuck at home with 2 little kids really feeling restless irritable and discontent lol.

I'm really struggling I feel like going to the shop and getting some beer so bad.

I know how disappointed everyone will be in me.

The kids are crying I'm stuck at home.

Today is really the first day I've really struggled.

Challenges and difficulties will always come and go. It's how we choose to deal with them in the moment it happens. I know that "keeping your chin up" isn’t always the easiest thing to accept when others try to encourage you. Just remember, addiction lives in darkness, it feeds off our secrets and it thrives in the shadows. Don't let the shadows in the darkness win. I know how hard it is to have set backs, but keep pushing forward!

Congrats on day 20!

Try to breath and if you pray, then pray for strength. Take it one day at a time, 24 hours.

Try not to worry about what others think, worry about what you think. You are quitting for you, not for them. They may reap the harvest later down the road but for now, just you.

I would cry right along with those kids. Hold on the them and cry with them. Get it out. You may feel better letting it all go.

The kids are now in bed I felt bad that they were sad but I got through it in pacing the house with cold beers in the house
