This song has spoken to me more than I can pu tinto words. I don't want to hijack your thread, I'm just trying to show how this man had many things to say that we can relate to.

Not to high jack it any further but Johnny Cash did not write Hurt, it's a Nine Inch Nails cover.

Great stuff on both posts though.

I'm aware he did not write it, but I think his version is better. Especially the video which quite simply pulls at the heart strings like few other music videos can.

When Trent does hurt, he whines.
When Johnny Cash does Hurt, its amazing and from a very deep place.

I like some NIN, but yeah, Cash pretty much puts him to shame with that one.

For me it's when his wife cries. You see the pain there. Sorry just for me it's a tragic piece of work, beautiful at the same time. I have played this when I myself weakening.

A great man who had his own demons, someone many of us can relate to.
