Hi there:

I posted less than a year ago that I had made it eleven days sober. Then Christmas happened, new years' , a health crisis. I am no longer employed and I am living with my brother, and guess what. It's been eleven days again that I have not had a drop of alcohol.


Actually I think the last time I made it three weeks.

I want to go to inpatient alcohol recovery -- a non-12-step residential treatment program. I looked at the resources here at SR and the problem is that they're all in California, Tuscon or Illinois and I don't want to go to any of those places -- *especially* not California.

Does anyone know or has anyone gone to a safe, reputable medical detox and recovery program on the East Coast or in the Northeast?
