Not sure...
Not sure...
Hey all. I'm 34 n know I've had a problem for awhile. I struggled with two DUIs, and a lot of problems through my twenties. In my thirties I've been managing w two kids, my wife, and a good job. Today I sat on my day off with a case of beer.... Bought it thinking " well a 12pk won't due might as well make sure I have enough. I went in and grabbed what I realized was my 19th. I drink 2-3 times a week. I'm well aware my drinking is excessive, just dont know what to do. I'm aware of AA just don't know if its what will work for me... Thought I'd look for another place to try....
Hi Tywayne, there's lots of help and support here - I'm 32 and a binge drinker too - joined this site in June this year and tried to 'control' my drinking initially which failed miserably. I then did 6 1/2 weeks with no alcohol before drinking and am now back in day 19. I guess we can label ourselves what we like but we know when it's a problem - I read the Alan Carr book and come on this site daily and it's really helped me
I wish you all the luck in the world - it's not easy (at the start) but it so worth it xxxxxx

No problem at all - I think he uses the same methodology for different addictions - what's good for one is not good for all so am sure you will get plenty of other advice too
