I'm new

HI there everybody
I am new here.
I have had enough of games I play with myself and am sick of asking am I or am I not an alkie?
So, here goes
day 1 of sobriety...I do not enjoy alcohol at all anymore but use it more as an excape from life...why I do not know...I have a great job, wonderful family etcetc.
Anyhow howdee.

Hi Karin,
I hadn't enjoyed drinking my wine long before I surrendered and admitted my life was unmanageable. At 8 1/2 months I am so grateful each day that I am sober. Welcome to SR!
