Welcome. I finally found that I needed to get honest with myself about my drinking problem, which you indicate you are. Next is accepting the fact that if we don't have that first drink we don't have to get sober AGAIN. Following this concept many of us alcoholics attend AA with good results by going to say 30 meetings in 30 days. The problem with a lot of alcoholics, me included, is when we come around we are defiant, angry, emotionally immature, un disciplined, arrogant and controlling which contribute to much continued inner pain or the inability to accept surrender to our personal disease alcoholism so a lot choose a path of doing it their way with various results usually not positive. Often in life what appears the easiest way is not, sobriety is something that requires work and TIME. BE WELL
