so this is what normal people do lol

Hey 7 days sober big win for me.

Today instead of spending the Saturday recovering from a hangover and watching pointless tv I took the kids to the museum.

What can I say I'm there now the kids are having such a good time and I don't feel bad because I'm not doing anything with them.

I've really enjoyed the Museum too it's so interesting in even thinking about making a trip by myself so I can have a real good look around.

I used to think life was boring without a drink. I had to push myself to go out today but I'm so glad I did.

I'm starting to belive my life will be richer in sobriety.

I'm not getting ahead of myself though. I'm not going to drink just for today and make sure I get my butt to aa.

I do feel guilty at times leaving for the time to goto aa but it's a small sacrifice for my family to have me the person back not the tv watching drunk.

I'm grateful for being sober today.

Jason.

Way to go with being unselfish and thinking of others. I need to be less selfish and absorbed with my problems. A peaceful, quiet life is what I want right now.
